Pastor Dr. Lee Taylor

Fellowship is an independent Baptist Church whose focus is to honor God. We feature careful and clear Bible exposition and godly music. We have an exciting children’s ministry and a worldwide missionary outreach.

Faith, family and freedom were important values in 1950 when a group of 10 children and 2 adults met in the one-room McDonald School on Marshall Road near South Lyon. The group soon grew and was renamed from McDonald Sunday School to Fellowship Sunday School. Within a few months a full schedule of services began, land was purchased a building erected and the Sunday School was organized into Fellowship Baptist Church. Since that humble beginning in 1950, our church has seen many changes. Several buildings have been built, hundreds of people have been part of Fellowship Baptist Church and M. Lee Taylor is our 7th pastor.

Though we have seen many changes in our church, nation, society and culture, our values have not changed because neither God nor His Word have changed. Faith, family and freedom are still values we hold dear and teach at Fellowship Baptist Church. The truth of the saving Gospel of Christ is unchanged and is as needed today as it was in 1950.

Visit us and be refreshed by church, the way it used to be.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” (John 3:16–18 KJV)
